I’m April Rose Hovland, the founder and creative heart behind April Rose Artistry — a space where my love for art meets my passion for simple, natural living. Art has always been how I connect with the world — a way to express, to create, and to share beauty.

My journey into soap making began as an extension of that same creative spirit. I wanted to bring more natural, chemical-free products into my home, so I started experimenting with oils and butters from my own kitchen. What began as a personal project soon grew into a full expression of artistry — transforming everyday soap into something meaningful, something beautiful, something that matters.

Each bar I craft is a blend of artistry and intention — made with simple, sustainable ingredients and a touch of creative soul. My mission is to make soaps that are as beautiful as they are kind to the skin and the planet. Always pretty. Always simple.

For me, soap making isn’t just about creating a product — it’s about creating an experience. It’s about the joy of crafting something by hand, and the delight my customers feel when they use or gift it.
